Graphical Command Center (GCC), GUI Interface |
|
GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACE: All Multi-Module systems are equipped
with a single GCC (Graphical Command Center) located in the System
Static Switch Cabinet. The GCC monitors both system status and
individual module status. It is also equipped with an Ethernet port
that when connected to a network will allow the GCC to be remotely
viewed using a standard browser (2003 models and later only).

The standard EPS 8000 is
equipped with 12 dry contacts (see installation drawing for details)
as well as a single serial port that can be configured for either
RS485 or RS232. Consult TSG for register maps for the serial
port. Also an additional two serial ports can be added using the
COMM+2 (GT2Z) option. If any Ethernet connectivity is required for
Network Based Power Management the Multislot expander can be
added to accommodate SNMP communications cards.

SSC: The EPS
8000 can be paralleled for capacity or redundancy with up six modules
or a total capacity of 4000A using a System Static Switch Cabinet (SSC).
